Information to record
Use these prompts to agree the record for your project. Keep the answers and their source references together; leave an unknown value explicit rather than filling it with an assumption.
- Site areas
- List areas where coverage may differ.
- Required steps
- Identify sign-in, maps, uploads and shared-record checks.
- Coverage evidence
- Record where and when a connection was tested.
- Fallback record
- Agree a traceable manual record if a step cannot be completed.
- Reconciliation owner
- Name who will check pending work after the visit.
Checks for this task
- Test a representative location before depending on its coverage.
- Confirm a shared record on the receiving device after connectivity returns.
- Keep any manual tree IDs aligned with the project register.
A worked example
Illustrative example, not a client case: A team can browse a previously opened record near the gate, but the far side of the property has weak coverage. They document the uncompleted upload and check its receipt later rather than assuming it synced.
Scope and limits
Availability depends on the application, provider and device; do not infer an offline feature from previously cached content.
Use the worksheet
The download contains the prompts and checks above with space for your project notes. It is a plain text document you can edit in a text editor or copy into your project brief. It contains no client information and does not run calculations, import records or change an account.
