Information to record
Use these prompts to agree the record for your project. Keep the answers and their source references together; leave an unknown value explicit rather than filling it with an assumption.
- Source image
- Retain the original file and reference.
- Annotated copy
- Identify the marked version separately.
- Mark meaning
- Explain the arrow, line or outlined area.
- Observation link
- Connect the mark to the relevant text.
- Reviewer
- Record who checked the issued annotation.
Checks for this task
- Ensure the mark points to the intended feature.
- Check that important image detail remains visible.
- Open the exported report to confirm marks and captions are readable.
A worked example
Illustrative example, not a client case: A marked copy of P4 highlights the feature discussed in O3. The original P4 remains available. The caption explains the mark, and the issued PDF is checked for visibility after resizing.
Scope and limits
An annotation communicates a reference and is not evidence that a particular treatment or work outcome is appropriate.
Use the worksheet
The download contains the prompts and checks above with space for your project notes. It is a plain text document you can edit in a text editor or copy into your project brief. It contains no client information and does not run calculations, import records or change an account.
