Information to record
Use these prompts to agree the record for your project. Keep the answers and their source references together; leave an unknown value explicit rather than filling it with an assumption.
- Review version
- Identify the dataset and output being checked.
- Coverage check
- Compare surveyed areas with the brief.
- Record checks
- Identify missing units, IDs or evidence links.
- Query log
- Keep each question tied to a tree or source.
- Resolution
- Record the response, correction and recheck.
Checks for this task
- Distinguish data consistency checks from assessment review.
- Do not fill missing measurements from assumptions about nearby trees.
- Open the exported map and report after corrections.
A worked example
Illustrative example, not a client case: The office reviewer finds a missing photo reference for T008. The recorder confirms the source image, the reference is corrected and the exported report is rechecked without changing unrelated observations.
Scope and limits
Desktop review does not replace any required site inspection or professional review of conclusions.
Use the worksheet
The download contains the prompts and checks above with space for your project notes. It is a plain text document you can edit in a text editor or copy into your project brief. It contains no client information and does not run calculations, import records or change an account.
