Checks for this task

  1. Do not substitute a generic barrier sketch for project-specific advice.
  2. Check that relevant contractors receive the issued version.
  3. Refer changed works back to the responsible adviser for review.

A worked example

Illustrative example, not a client case: A team has agreed retained trees but has not settled its material storage area. The brief records that unresolved arrangement so it can be addressed before the protection plan is treated as ready for implementation.

Scope and limits

The worksheet is not a protection design, construction method or guarantee that proposed works are acceptable.

Use the worksheet

The download contains the prompts and checks above with space for your project notes. It is a plain text document you can edit in a text editor or copy into your project brief. It contains no client information and does not run calculations, import records or change an account.
